Began visual arts studies at Yewon School, a middle school for young artists in Seoul, Korea. Had lived and worked in New York City, Santa Fe (NM), and Seoul (Korea) after graduating from college with a fine arts degree. Took a detour, illustrating children’s books, getting a law degree, practicing law, but in 2011, resumed the journey to find identity as a painter. Currently, lives and works in New York City.
